I am a woman, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a partner, a teacher, a student, a ceremonialist, an energy worker, a writer, a dreamer, a traveller, a weaver, a friend and so much more - just as you are.
I believe in equality, and integrity and that love and compassion are the most precious gifts we can offer one-another.
I am deeply called to working in Circle with women as we heal our hearts and re-connect to our own internal guidance system to help bring peace and balance to our lives, our communities and the collective.
The Sister Circles
I was fortunate to start on my 'path' at an early age and after high school I continued my academic training at Macquarie University in Sydney Australia, going on to then complete a Masters degree in Counselling at the University of Western Sydney.
I could see how necessary it was to create safe spaces for women for deep sharing and how beneficial it is to the healing process both individually and collectively. I held my first Circle when I was in my early 20s.
Over the next couple of decades, I held Sisters Circles amongst the contours of my professional life as a counsellor, youth worker, health coach, and business owner.
In 2015 I was called to devoted myself full time to facilitating Circles and Workshops and in 2016 I started teaching this work to other women.
Over this time, I have facilitated hundreds of Circles and Workshops and created a Level 1 and Level 2 Facilitator Training Program so women can take this work back into their communities.
Having worked with women who are healing the deepest of wounds as well as those who are looking for some clarity in their lives, it is an honour and a privilege to gently and lovingly help each woman on their way to finding more peace in their hearts and more happiness in their lives.
My dream is that every woman has the opportunity to sit in a safe and empowering Circle as they navigate the joys and challenges of life.
What is this work based on?
All the Circles, Workshops and Retreats I create (and co-create) are a blend of modern human psychology and shamanic practices.
Combining these two aspects of healing in Circles, rituals and ceremonies, allows us to feel 'safe' in our left brain (masculine structure) so we can surrender and explore from our right brain (feminine flow).
In this space, we have the opportunity to review our choices, witness our patterns and allow insight and awareness to guide our ‘next right step’.
I strongly believe that women are being called to rise both individually and collectively. To do this we must continue to take responsibility for our personal healing journey. Being in Circle with other women is an important pathway towards this.
Teaching other women how to hold safe and sacred Circles fulfils me in a way that nothing else can. It is without-a-doubt a large part of my soul contract in this lifetime and I walk this path with gratitude and reverence to my ancestors, my teachers and all those who are helping and supporting me to continue this work.
In 2017 the Level 1 Facilitator Training Program was internationally recognised as an approved modality with the International Institute of Complementary Therapist. This was an important milestone for validating the potency of this work and the skills the graduates gain from the Training.
The Sister Circle Facilitator family is growing at a beautiful rate and I welcome you with open arms to the tribe of women who have also felt activated by ‘the call’ to hold sacred Sister Circles in their communities. I am so happy you are here. For more information on the Training Programs, Click Here.
